Tips for Strong Pitches

Be concise and to the point. Your pitch should be roughly two paragraphs long.

Be specific! Detail us about your perspective and research and why your idea is relevant to our mission.

Read past published articles to get a sense of our perspective and editorial voice.
4
Make sure your idea is original. Research your idea to see if it has been explored through a similar lens.

After You Pitch…
We will respond to every pitch that we get. If you don’t hear from us within 4 weeks, please feel free to follow up.
If your pitch is accepted, someone from the editorial team will follow up with suggestions, a timeline, and guidelines for writing your piece and for the editorial process.
